Quest Academy is a career planning and employment readiness program for young adults. Quest provides participants the opportunity to explore their career options through classroom training and an internship with a local business.
Part of the curriculum is learning and practicing good interviewing techniques to competitively seek employment. Volunteers are needed to act as mock interviewers to help participants act on what they've learned and to give feedback.

Campaign to Support Goodwill of Western Missouri & Eastern Kansas
Goodwill empowers people with disadvantages and different abilities to earn and keep employment through individualized programs and services. For more than 120 years, Goodwill has provided services in and around Greater Kansas City. 90¢ of every dollar Goodwill spends supports LOCAL programs and services like Quest Academy which gives individuals with barriers to employment a real-life work experience and soft skills to enter the workforce, GoodWORKS Career Resource Centers, which provide free career exploration assistance and is open to the public, and the Career Impact Program that pairs individuals with different abilities with career navigators and career coaches to succeed in the workplace. Goodwill is a leader in sustainability, annually diverting 15 million pounds of computers, paper, clothing and textiles from area landfills, recovering the value through resale and recycle. As a member of Goodwill Industries International, we are a part of the world's largest and most successful network to provide employment and training services for people with different abilities.
